D. W. Pollard wrote his first book at the age of ten on his mom’s IBM Selectric typewriter. It was an action-packed jewel heist only half a dozen pages long, but it sparked a lifelong love of storytelling. In high school, one of his stories earned him a college scholarship after being published in a statewide magazine. Since then, his work has appeared in a college literary journal, and he’s ventured into screenwriting, with two of his short films produced and featured at film festivals.
